Things start to look better for Mazatlan’s Playa Norte

People are optimistic in Playa Norte, especially on the weekends, when sales have been improving.

Rosario Flores Galindo, representative of the fish sellers expressed that during the week the commercialization falls below fifty percent

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (September 6, 2020).– “With the tourism reactivation, the sale of fish in the Playa Norte area managed to recover by fifty percent, however, during September most of the sales are made on weekends there are a number of visitors who consume the product,” explained Rosario Flores Galindo.

The representative of the fish vendors in the sector mentioned that currently the vessels in the area report low catches, in which the presence of cabrilla, mojarra, palometa, curvina, snapper, and bull stands out; with affordable prices for the economy of consumers.

Flores Galindo expressed that they maintain the hope that within this weekend sales will rebound a little higher, which is absolutely necessary after several months suffering from the lack of sales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
