Coronavirus in Mexico today July 27: latest news, cases, and deaths

Mexico is already in the 395 thousand cases accumulated by Covid-19, while 42,022 people have died from this virus

Mexico has 395,489 accumulated cases according to the figures presented by the Secretary of Health. With the lack of confidence in some states of the country, the cases have increased, while in Mexico City there has been a slight increase in hospitalizations, so these days are crucial to determine whether to return to the traffic light in red or remain in orange.

The general figures for the pandemic in Mexico are: 395,489 confirmed cases, 44,022 deaths and 30,108 active cases.

395,489 cases and 44,022 deaths

The City of Mexico and the State of Mexico continue as more states with contagions accumulated Covid-19. In the case of the capital, it has 69,298  cases and EDOMEX reports 50,113 infected people. For its part, Colima is the state with the fewest cases, reporting a figure of 1,605

The CDMX is the state with more than 8,731 recorded deaths to the  human losses because of this virus that has affected the world . The State of Mexico registers 6,145 deaths from Covid-19, being the second state entity with the most deaths .

16,076 beds available

Regarding hospital capacity, 47% of beds are occupied, with Nuevo León and Tabasco being the states with the most occupancy in general beds. On the other hand, Chiihuahua and Aguascalientes are the states with the most availability in this area.

The Epidemiological Traffic Light

For this week the epidemiological traffic light that was presented on July 17 is maintained. Aguascalientes, Baja California, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Durango, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Michoacán, Morelos, Sinaloa, Sonora and Tlaxcala are orange.

While Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Colima, Guanajuato, HIdalgo, Jalisco, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas are in red.
