Jesús Enrique Grajeda Herrera, Secretary of Health of Chihuahua, died this morning from Covid-19. The news was announced by Governor Javier Corral Jurado , who through his Facebook account expressed “his deep sadness”.
According to the chief executive in Chihuahua, the death occurred at 6 in the morning, when he suffered heart failure. Enrique Grajeda had been hospitalized for several days in a private clinic in the city of Chihuahua.
Dr. Grajeda Herrera was in intensive care, however, he had shown improvement in the last week, according to Javier Corral.
In his message, the governor described him as a man who “devoted his whole life to the service of health.”
“The man was a great human being, Master of life in many ways, because he was an example of verticality, honesty, social commitment. Life gave me the opportunity to know and admire him, for his professional sense, and consistency in the defense of his values, “he wrote.
