Mazatlan restaurants have digital menus now

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 24, 2020).- As part of the “new normal”, most Mazatlan restaurants already feature digital menus, as a preventive measure against coronavirus.

The president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry of Mazatlán, Rodrigo Becerra, explained that establishments that have already been certified and they all must have digital menus as part of the protocols.

He explained that for virtual menus, diners will scan the QR code with their cell phone to avoid handling menus physically.

He admitted that before the pandemic not all establishments had a digital menu, but in this health contingency it is mandatory to have it and all restaurants in Mazatlan will have to use them.

He pointed out that all the restaurants affiliated to the Chamber must have this type of menu, but they are only part of the gastronomic sector, now it has to be seen how it connects with the rest of the food business.
