Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- From the first day that the hotels and beaches in Mazatlan were reopened , tourists from different parts of the country began to arrive at the port to spend some time off. And although they accept that they run a certain risk, because Mazatlan is not yet at an orange light , they assure that they feel safe because the city implements the security protocols as they should be.

Jesús, another visitor, says that at least in the beach area everyone brings face masks and that to enter an establishment it is necessary to wear it.

For David, who is coming to the port for the second time, there is more surveillance than normal and he has observed that the establishments do not work at their maximum capacity, as it should be.
“It is very beautiful, I have already come other times, now everything is working at 30 or 40 percent, they ask for face masks and there is a lot of surveillance, more than normal, to enter the establishments and for the beach they asked us to keep a healthy distance “, he claimed.
From the neighboring state of Nayarit, Judith, along with her family, avoid being in contact with other people and when it comes to entering somewhere they immediately put on their mouth masks.
“The city is very beautiful, quiet, the authorities are aware, but we tell them that we are with the family and that we bring our masks, we already put them on to get somewhere, but among ourselves we avoid being around other people” .
Luis, for his part, considers that it takes a little more “action” on the part of the authorities, for example, to deliver mouthguards on public roads, to those who do not bring them, because sometimes due to a little carelessness or forgetfulness they can no longer enter somewhere and do their activities as tourists.
“They still need to give people masks when they don’t bring them, they won’t let the trucks get on if they don’t bring them, they need to distribute them among the people, so they can do their thing.”
