Sinaloa could reopen clubs, gyms, and casinos in late July

Culiacán, Sinaloa (July 7, 2020) .- It is expected that nightclubs, casinos, party halls and gyms in Sinaloa can be reopen in the last weeks of July, said the president of the National Chamber of Commerce, Culiacán Delegation (Canaco), Diego Castro Blanco.

The leader of the trade union expressed that the “burden” that the businessmen have is a great one, since three months after the confinement they continue to pay expenses for rent, electricity, and water.

“They are entrepreneurs who require income, their families need to eat, just like anybody else. All these businesses must be reopened as soon as possible because they are part of what generates the income for the economic reactivation,” Castro Blanco declared.

“We need to reactivate the tourist, cultural, and recreational activities for the benefit of all; but of course, all thee businesses will have to follow a whole sanitation protocol in order to be able to reopen,” he said.

Castro Blanco mentioned that they will be waiting for authorization to reopen, hoping that the approval will come as soon as possible.

“We have given the authorities enough time to solve the problem of hospital infrastructure, tests, and medical equipment, and now it’s time for the rest of the activities to start operating as well,” he concluded.
