Mazatlan.- A capacity of 4,261 people was registered on the 22 kilometers of urban beaches in Mazatlán this Wednesday, July 1.
From Punta Cerritos to Isla de la Piedra, the beaches remained below their suggested user capacity at this stage of Nueva Normalidad, however, special attention was paid to the areas with the highest influx of bathers, where the work of awareness by the authorities.
The most popular beaches were Luna Bonita and several sections of the Golden Zone, due to the reopening of Hotels; the beach of Monumento al Pescador, Playa Norte, Pinitos, Olas Altas, Isla de la Piedra and Isla de Chivos.
In these areas, citizens have reiterated the request to respect the Beach Occupation and Use Protocol, especially in the sense of keeping a healthy distance and avoiding groups of more than six people, this in order to inhibit infections.
