San Carlos Sonora still closed to tourists

The State Police of Public Security and National Guard installed a checkpoint on the Manlio Fabio Beltrones boulevard, to persuade tourists who want to enter San Carlos or Nuevo Guaymas to spend the weekend, this derived from the mobility restrictions implemented by the State Government, with the goal of reducing the number of Covid-19 coronavirus cases.

In recent weeks, the upswing in cases in Guaymas as well as in the rest of the state, has forced the authorities to reinforce prevention measures before Covid-19, especially in sectors and public places such as beaches, which were crowded regardless of the risk that this represents for their health and that of others.
