July 1 will be remembered as a new beginning in the tourist life of Mazatlán, the start of the so-called “new normal” derived from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 4, 2020) .- At 8 am Wednesday, July 1st, government authorities began the new tourist life of Mazatlán, the “New Normal” that will come to change the way of working, thinking and acting in lodging centers, beaches and food service areas.
All workers will have to abide by strict health and hygiene rules and requirements to be able to provide tourism services.
Visitors from other parts of Sinaloa were happy to see the reactivation of Mazatlan, which they did not think would be as soon as July 1, and they are thrilled to enjoy the attractions of the port once again.
Many of them arrived in private cars, minivans, and SUVs, while others in charter flights, which regularly bring tourism in large groups.
The humidity and the heat of the city caused many of the visitors to walk in shorts and casual clothing.
Children traveling with their parents will have to learn and comply with the new measures in the tourist destination.
