Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- As “the Malecon of the Poor”, this is how the governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, announced the next work that will begin to be carried out in the following days, which will be located on Circunvalación Avenue, the which begins in the Independencia neighborhood and ends in the Obrera neighborhood, which is the Estero del Infiernillo area.
Ordaz Coppel stressed that it will be an emblematic and significant work for all the popular colonies that exist around it, and that it will bring a broad social benefit.
He commented that it will be a boardwalk for all the people in that area and it will be as a new alternative.
He said that the paving will start from Río Piaxtla avenue and will finish until Pesqueira avenue.
He stressed that this project includes double lanes, sidewalks on one side and work is being done with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to carry out the boardwalk on the estuary side, this, without damaging the mangrove to give dignity to the people who live by this zone.
