MAZATLAN.- Dozens of ecotaxists demonstrated this Friday in the Juárez neighborhood, during the farewell to their colleague Jesús Miguel “N”, who was killed in an assault on Thursday.
In the windows of their units, the taxi drivers demanded justice for their partner, a new victim of a crime against taxi drivers.
Green ecotaxi driver killed in knives in Pradera Dorada 4
Around 5:30 a.m. yesterday, Jesús Miguel asked his companions for help via radio, as he was just assaulted and stabbed to death in section 4 of the Pradera Dorada subdivision.
When his colleagues and the police arrived, he had ceased to exist.
He was identified as Jesús Miguel “N”, 40 years old.
The taxi driver who remained inside the green ecotaxi unit economic number 2665.
The crime was between Obed and San Miguel streets.
It was said that the taxi driver managed to make a report to his base of what he was suffering at that time (attacked) but the place was quite remote and his companions were late in arriving and he had already died.
Municipal police officers arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area, awaiting the staff of the State Attorney’s Office.
