Mazatlán, Sinaloa (June 25, 2020).- In addition to providing surveillance and security, the agents of the Tourist Police of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat carry out a work of social distancing and citizen awareness, so that users of the Malecón continue to follow guidelines and health protocols before the coronavirus pandemic.

Francisco Javier Sánchez Velarde, Commander of the Tourist Police, Metal Capta Group, mentioned that this area of the city is guarded 24 hours a day, and that with the presence of Mazatlecos and tourists, rapprochement rounds are carried out during the peak hours.

The commander of the Tourist Police recalled that the beaches of Mazatlán are still closed to the public, so that operations on the coastal strip are still ongoing, in order to monitor compliance with this indication.

“We are inviting people who exercise on the Malecon to keep their distance, wear a mouth cover, because right now we are still in the middle of a pandemic,” said the Tourist Police Commander.
