Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- A member of the coaching staff of Mazatlán FC new professional soccer franchise, has tested positive for Covid-19. The tests were being carried out recently, to comply with the established protocols of Liga MX.

Through a statement on social networks, this was announced by the club, which carried out 51 tests on its players, coaching and administration staff, as well as managers of the purple institution.

“This person, a member of the coaching staff, will be kept in quarantine and under medical surveillance, as dictated by the methods established by Liga MX and health authorities,” Mazatlan FC said in the statement.

Meanwhile, the players are already in the Estrella de Mar complex to start the preseason, after their move to the port of Mazatlan.

THE GRAND DEBUT

According to information from TV Azteca journalist David Medrano, Mazatlan’s “Purple Wave” will debut on Friday, July 24th, against the Red Devils of Toluca.

The first game of the Mazatlan FC will take place in “The Pearl of the Pacific”.
