Civil Protection urges the population to refrain from exercising on this spot and to please stay at home.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa (June 10, 2020).- “The hill that is located behind Real Pacífico, where many Mazatlecos go jogging is private property”, said the director of Civil Protection (PC), Eloy Ruiz Gastélum.
He added that they cannot close access to the hill, since it is the responsibility of the owner of the property who must make the decision and close the access.
However, Civiel Protection agents are present to ask people to please do not go exercising there.
This represents a health risk, since they do not use face masks and people is not respecting the healthy distance.
He added that the cooperation of the population is important so that this rule is enforced.
“The authority cannot put an agent to protect each citizen of Mazatlan to prevent them from violating sanitary provisions”. Gastelum said.
“Given the incidence of infections, the recommendation is to stay home”, the official recommended to the population.
