Mazatlán, Sinaloa (May 12, 2020).- Tourism service providers will have to train their personnel and then become certified in sanitation so that they can proceed to reopen once the coronavirus pandemic is overcome and the quarantine is over.
Some hotels in Mazatlán already define the health protocols that will have to be implemented, when receiving tourists.
The head of the Ministry of Tourism in Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros, announced that specific material will be delivered for personnel from different economic activities.
In the case of the Pueblo Bonito group, to fulfill its commitment to comprehensive care, it already has the complete action plan, from the reception, rooms’ hygiene, food and beverages, public areas, laundries, to transportation of guests.
In Pueblo Bonito, a comprehensive and general disinfection plan will be carried out by a certified supplier before reopening, as well as periodically, in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities.
Cleaning and disinfection protocols have also been implemented in other lodging centers, using certified products and focusing on high contact areas.
