ISSTE Mazatlán: Citizens express their anger at the government for lack of medicines

A group of people get up early and stood in line for hours outside the ISSSTE Clinic to get their medications, but instead, they returned home empty-handed

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (May 6, 2020).- From early in the morning, a group of people stood in line outside the ISSSTE Clinic hoping to get their medicines, but they did not know they had another thing coming.

Mr. Jesús Zatarain, comes from Escamilla and says that they make them come again and again, and still they do never fill his prescription.

In other cases Margarita Patrón, from Mazatlan, came to pick her parents’ medications for the prostate and heart.

She arrived at 4:00 a.m. stood in line for 5 hours or so, but they never delivered the drugs.

Her father is 82 years old, he cannot be left without treatment, Margarita said.

There were other transplant patients who demanded treatments, as well as diabetics and hypertensive patients.

Citizens complained, some of them with tears of impotence and anger running down their cheeks, but the ISSTE workers were not able to provide a solution to their problems.

On the other hand, the people expressed their respect and admiration for the nurses and doctors who are working there.
