Los Mochis paramedic infected with Covid-19 dies

Dismayed, colleagues and friends of the Red Cross, Civil Protection, Fire and Summa recognized his volunteering for more than 30 years and his happy heart.

Los Mochis, Sinaloa (April 27, 2020).- A paramedic who contracted Covid-19 died on April 26th. The death was confirmed by Francisco Espinosa Valverde, head of the Municipal Health Directorate, who noted that the unfortunate loss of this collaborator, occurred on Sunday evening, despite medical efforts to save his life.

He announced that according to the sanitary protocols for these cases, his relatives and all the people who have a direct relationship with him will be kept under strict medical observation and will remain isolated.

Accompanied by the sound of the sirens of the Red Cross and Summa ambulances, as well as the Fire and Civil Protection vehicles, an emotional tribute was paid to paramedic Alberto Berrelleza Herrera, who had been working for 30 years to help society in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.
