Mazatlán, Sinaloa (April 27, 2020). “The delivery of 25 thousand pesos loans to small entrepreneurs who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, will greatly help small businesses”; said Oscar Tirado Bernal.
The Concanaco councilor commented that the dispersion of resources that begins this Monday April 27th, will undoubtedly give a ‘breather’ to small entrepreneurs, however, these loans are not part of the economic rescue that our country needs.
Tirado Bernal said that microentrepreneurs, such as grocery stores, miscellaneous, cocinas económicas, barbershops, and beauty salons, will also be eligible to these 25 thousand-peso loans, as long as they have maintained jobs during January, February, March and until April 15.
He added that it will be paid over a three-year term with interest rates of 7.5%, 8.5% and 10%, depending on the number of workers the company has, and a three-month grace period.
He explained that the conditions to access these credits are the word and the honesty of the people.
To request a credit, people need to go to the IMSS webpage and submit the necessary data to know if they are in that group of solidarity entrepreneurs and choose the interest rate.
If they qualify, they will receive a letter signed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Concanaco leader, Oscar Tirado declared that it is a good thing that the federal government is willing to help small businesses, but the credits are being used with political (and electoral) purposes.
