Mazatlán.- In the week of April 13 to 19, a total of 710 people were withdrawn from the beaches of Mazatlán, from Playa Brujas to Isla de la Piedra.

This last one (Isla de la Piedra) was the area where there was a greater influx of swimmers who were invited to withdraw by elements of the municipal Aquatic Salvage Squadron in coordination with the Mazatlán Beach Operator and Administrator.

This result obtained thanks to the permanent implementation of the Closed Beaches operation during Easter Week, which adds to the figures obtained during Easter, when 981 people were removed from the beaches, to add a total of 1,691 people withdrawn from the area. of Mazatlán in order to avoid the risk of contagion of the Covid-19 coronavirus during this health contingency.

During this week, in addition to actively participating with supervisory rounds on beaches, the OAP continued with the activities aimed at the certification of Gaviotas beach with the installation of informative, security and preventive signs at the accesses to this area, located in Barra al Sea and the vacant lot between the Gaviana and Emporio hotels.
