Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The entire coastal strip of Mazatlán, which includes from Playa Brujas to Isla de la Piedras, remains closed during this Holy Week due to the health contingency, with the aim of avoiding COVID-19 infections in the municipality.

This Thursday, personnel of the Operator and Administrator of Beaches in Mazatlán, headed by the general director Jorge Contreras, made a supervisory tour of the areas, in order to comply with the measures to keep the sites closed to people also during these weekdays.

Likewise, it has been reported that 50 red pennants were delivered to the Aquatic Rescue Squadron to signal all the beach areas of the port, as instructed by Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, supervision on beaches is permanent by the OAP, in coordination with the rest of the dependencies and organisms of the municipality.
