The City Council of Mazatlán takes possession of the Teodoro Mariscal stadium

The Municipality took possession of the stadium for alleged breaches in clauses of the concession of the property.

The “battle” between the Mazatlán City Council and the Toledo family continues, and at noon on Monday April 6th, a new chapter of the story was written.

The municipal administration headed by Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres took possession of the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium for alleged breaches of clauses in the concession of the property.

On Monday afternoon, the Government of Mazatlán with representation of Cielo Rosa Mucharraz Elías, director of Legal and Government Affairs, arrived at the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium facilities to officially take possession of the property.

In the words of director Cielo Rosa, they presented a document in which the owners of the property promised to deliver it in approximately 6 days.

Immediately afterwards the secretary of the city council, Jesús Flores Segura stated that the reason why the Stadium was being taken could not be revealed.
