The state president was accompanied by the state spokesman before the contingency, the health secretary, Efrén Encinas Torres, and by several of his cabinet secretaries, in a meeting in which the commander of the Ninth Military Zone, General of Brigade, Maximiliano Cruz Ramos, who in turn announced the implementation of Plan DN III-E, to aid the civilian population.

“This is the first meeting we have together, already entering the next phase, phase 2, to be in tune hand in hand, taking actions and not everyone on their side, because that then generates that we cannot be in one body, which is what we want, “said the governor.

During the meeting, prevention actions were deepened, especially those announced on Monday, such as the suspension of activities in bars, nightclubs, cinemas, and gyms, to avoid crowding and prevent the spread of COVID 19.

Ordaz Coppel told mayors that the message to be given to the population is not panic, but to take the necessary preventive measures, with great responsibility, especially reinforcing hygiene measures such as washing hands with water and soap or use antibacterial gel permanently, and keep at home.

“A lot of hygiene and a lot of prevention, and going out for what is strictly indispensable, but let’s not fall into psychosis, which is very helpful for social networks in that, there is a lot of real, true, good information, but there is also a lot of exaggeration, a lot of lies, abuse, for that attend to all that are official sources, “he stressed.

The governor of the state specified that the instruction is to be in line with the federal Secretary of Health to attend to the measures they determine in order to prevent the spread of the virus, which is already in Mexico.

Given the concerns of the mayors, about the possible closure of beaches, now that the holiday period of Easter is at hand, the state president was clear in pointing out that the provisions of the federal Health Secretariat will be followed, but so far no there is an instruction in this regard, without ruling out that in the immediate future they will determine it.

In this regard, Ordaz Coppel reiterated the call that both the State Government and the City Councils must adhere to federal indications, and not carry out actions that correspond to other phases of the health emergency, but go in tune and attending to the recommendations that issue specialists in this regard.
