Mazatlán beaches have NOT been closed

The general director of the Beach Operator Jorge Contreras highlighted that they are open to the general public.

Mazatlán.- Mazatlán’s beaches are open to tourism and citizens, highlighted the general director of the Beach Operator Jorge Contreras.

The official was insistent on pointing out that it is not for him to decide whether or not to close the beaches.

Lastly, he added that the issue of Covid – 19 does not pertain to him, and that its function is the management of beaches and the administration of beach infrastructure.

“We are continuosly working on maintaining the certification and recertification of our beaches,” Contreras concluded.
