The first edition of La Troca Week will be held from March 6 to 8, in Bahía Avenue
Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- Around 612 “trocas” trucks will be together exhibiting this weekend on Avenida Bahía, in Mazatlan, during the first edition of La Troca Week.
The activities will begin on Friday, March 6 with a parade in which 160 vehicles will participate. This tour will start at 5:00 p.m. on El Malecón, departing from Insurgentes Avenue until arriving at the Aquarium and returning, to end at Bahía Avenue and subsequently inaugurating such ceremony starting at 8:00 a.m. night.
It should be noted that Avenida Bahía will be closed to traffic from Thursday, March 5 from 5:00 in the afternoon.
Sol Castro, Vice President of the Organizing Committee, explained that Troca Week is a family event that everyone can go to, regardless of whether they have a vehicle or not. He added that the cost of entry is 100 pesos.
During this weekend there will be vans that exist since the 40’s and others that are the latest model. In addition, the best classic, modified cars, the ones that look best aesthetically and those with the best sound system will be rewarded.
Likewise, it was confirmed that the presence of Martín Vaca, the Mexican television program host, broadcast on the Discovery network.
