Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In addition to the carnival atmosphere, a true holiday was lived in the port with the arrival of three cruises in Mazatlan, so literally, thousands of tourists walked through the city center.
Foreigners visited the Mazatlan Church, the Plazuela Machado and the Malecon.
The restaurants were full of dinners who tasted typical dishes in Mazatlan.
The first boat to reach the port was Oosterdam, that arrived at 6:30 in the morning and sailed at 4:30 p.m., with a total of 2,587 people between passengers and crew, the boat came from Los Cabos and headed to Puerto Vallarta.
The Carnival Panorama arrived shortly thereafter at 6:48 and sailed at 5:00 p.m.
The number of passengers that arrived at the port were 4545, and 1449 crew.
The last (but not least), to arrive was the Royal Princess, which arrived at 07:48 and left for Puerto Vallarta at 18:00 in the afternoon with a total of 4,856 passengers.
Foreigners were fascinated to observe the puppets located in the Municipal Palace and in the Plazuela Machado, they could not stop taking pictures.
Tourists took tours to the towns of La Noria, El Quelite, Copala and Concordia.
Handicraft vendors had a good day, as visitors bought plenty of souvenirs, clothing and jewelry.
In addition, the transportation service providers could be seen riding with the tourists up and down the downtown area.
María Bernal, who sells handicrafts in downtown Mazatlan said: “Tourists have bought many of my bracelets, feathers and necklaces, all handmade by myself”.
