30% of reservations for hotels are registered for Motorcycle Week
The lodging establishments of Del Mar Avenue will be 100% full for Carnival; for Holy Week already at 50% reservations
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In stating that for the Mazatlan Carnival the hotel industry will be 100%, the president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, revealed that the reservations for the International Motorcycle Week are at 30 %.
He commented that for the event that will take place from March 12 to 15 on the second weekend of the year, people are already calling the lodging centers to learn about offers, promotions, and others.
He said that it was good that the change of date of the motorcycle event was made for the second long weekend of the year, which although it is attached to the Carnival does not affect the arrival of tourism.
There have already been events on other occasions that even when the Carnival is attached to the long weekend does not affect, on the contrary, people continue to give us their preference and we hope that it will be so.
Manguart Sánchez said that reservations for Easter and Easter, already register levels of 50%, and they are expected to rebound once the Carnestolendas festivities pass, so they also expect to have a full.
He recalled that for the Carnival that will take place from February 20 to 25, reservations at hotels on Del Mar Avenue and the largest flow of tourists arriving will be from the north of the country.
The visitors mostly come from the northern states such as Coahuila, Chihuahua, Durango, Sonora, Zacatecas, Nuevo León, El Bajío, Mexico City, and northern Sinaloa.
