Legendary Astoria cruiser comes to Mazatlan

Mazatlan, Sin.- The Astoria tourist cruise that covers the route called “Treasures of the Sea of Cortez”, arrived for the second time in Mazatlan with 549 international visitors.

The ship entered the port with 294 passengers and 255 crew members and according to its maritime itinerary, the boat will continue its journey to Cabo San Lucas.

The cruise passengers took advantage of the authorization to descend and made tours of the different tourist attractions of the city, also visiting La Noria, El Quelite, Copala and Concordia, among other tourist sites.

Through the route of the “Astoria” along the Sea of Cortez, the ship will also be visiting Topolobampo, La Paz, Loreto, Santa Rosalia, Puerto Peñasco and Guaymas, Sonora.

So far this year, 14 tourist cruises that have visited Mazatlan, with more than 45 thousand passengers on board, generating an economic spill in the order of 3.1 million US dollars.
