MAZATLÁN._ With a new date on the calendar, the new edition of the International Motorcycle Week Mazatlan 2020 was presented, which will be held from March 12 to 15.

The roar of the engines of the so-called “steel horses” is ready to echo in the port during the celebration of this great party.

For the 25th edition of this motorized celebration, it is expected to have the presence of just over 15 thousand people in Mazatlan, as expressed by Jesús Tirado and Paulo Orozco, main organizers of this edition of the Motorcycle Week.

“We are very grateful for the effort that has been made to achieve this 25th anniversary, and I think Mazatlan deserves a celebration like the one that’s coming,” said Tirado.

“We hope to have a better attendance than we had in the last edition, we know that it will be a bit difficult, but we hope that more people will join us this year,” Orozco said.

During a press conference, both Orozco and Tirado announced the details of this event, which will feature a good number of sports activities.

Among these activities, the Mazatlan Stunt Rider Cup stands out, where the most outstanding acrobats on two wheels will deliver their best performances in search of lifting the trophy.

In that sense, the long expected “Freestyle Contest” will be held with a competition (and not only as an exhibition), this will be confirmed in the coming days.

The traditional parade will take place on Sunday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m., where only bikers who have previously registered will be participating.

A ‘Biker musical ritual’ will be part of the event.

As the Mexican rock group Caifanes has been confirmed for the closing of the event on Sunday, March 15.

Likewise, the event will be opened by the reggae group, Prophetic Culture, on Friday the 13th, while on Saturday the 14th a tribute will be presented to Soda Stereo and Carlos Santana.
