Crocodile found on Mazatlan beach, released in its natural habitat

The Crocodile captured on the beaches of the Mazatlan on Thursday morning in the ecological area of El Verde Camacho located to the north of the city.

The capture of the reptile was made by Municipal Elements, Traffic Police and lifeguards of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat, who proceeded to take the animal to The Aquarium.

The crocodile that measures approximately three meters long was seen at 6:00 in the morning, perhaps it arrived there by the drains of the estuaries near the sea, but to avoid any incident, authorities proceeded to remove it to another area.

This would be the third time that these species are seen on the beaches, the first of them on Avenida del Mar, another in Punta Cerritos from where they could not remove it because that is considered their habitat, and this one that was found in front of the Torres hotel.
