The president of the LIGA MX, professional soccer league in Mexico, Enrique Bonilla was spotted in Mazatlan on Monday January 13th. inspecting stadium construction site.

In addition to meeting with Quirino Ordaz Coppel, governor of Sinaloa, Enrique Bonilla came to Mazatlan to take a look at the football stadium that is being built in the port.
Governor Quirino Ordaz pointed out that his would not be the first time that Sinaloa has a football team in the LIGA MX, as Dorados de Sinaloa have previously played in the “Primera División” .
