Senator John Kennedy’s office publishes a letter asking VH1 to cancel the reality show “Cartel Crew”
Senator John Kennedy does not approve the content of the reality show, which refers to the world of drug trafficking, and for that, among other reasons, asks that it be canceled.
He also disapproves of the participation of Emma Coronel, wife of the Sinaloa drug trafficker Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán, who has been imprisoned for a few months after being sentenced to life imprisonment.

The program includes part of its content the trips of relatives of some members of the cartel and how they set out to live legitimate lives and make names outside the world of drugs.
Kennedy believes that the content of the program is truly disturbing since it glorifies drug cartels and those who live in luxury and wealth because of the criminal activities that these groups carry out.
Senator Kennedy also argues that he is concerned that youth are interested in seeing this reality and come to believe that crime is profitable.
For Kennedy it is more worrisome to appear on Cartel Crew Emma Coronel, the wife of El Chapo Guzmán.
People who enjoy the spoils of lethal drug trafficking across the United States should not be glorified on a television show, ”says Kennedy.
