The reconstruction and modernization of Rafael Buelna Avenue is a transcendent work because it gives us a new attraction and entry of tourism to Mazatlan, will make us more competitive and places us at the national and international level, hotel entrepreneurs Carlos Berdegué, of the El Group agreed Cid, and Guillermo Romero, leader of Fecanaco. They acknowledged that there will be effects on trade, but it is worth paying that bill for this new work.

Interviewed before the start of the rehabilitation work on Rafael Buelna Avenue, in an act on the boardwalk, Berdegué said that there are areas of the city that have been delayed and this was one of them and therefore congratulations to Governor Ordaz Coppel and Mayor Benítez Torres.

On the effects on organized trade, Berdegué said that all “we have been affected in a time to fix our avenues, it will affect, although the key will be that they have the resources to do it well and quickly rehabilitate and affect as little as possible.”

On the other hand, Guillermo Romero indicated that this work is the sum of efforts of the state and municipal governments; “An artery that stayed in the middle of the tourist center and the city; it will be a new attraction like the Malecon, the Central Park and the Aquarium; these works are necessary for the growth of tourism and the economy of the city. ”

He was also pleased that the work begins until January 2 so as not to affect tourism that arrives at the end of the year. He accepted that the shops located on the avenue will suffer some months, but the work will finally bring more benefits and “it is worth paying that bill, which we already live with the Malecon, but all these works place us as one of the best destinations National and international”.
