Thousands of Mazatlan families and tourist enjoy ‘The Nutcracker’ and the Christmas Lights Show

Mazatlan.- In a great event that will remain for the history of Mazatlan, Bahia Avenue was the ideal setting where thousands of Mazatlan families witnessed the ballet performance “The Nutcracker”, as well as were in the lighting of the Interactive Lights Show Christmas, free events that fell in love with attendees.

Thanks to the initiative of the Mayor of Mazatlan, Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, to take the culture to the different points of the municipality, the Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlan presented for the first time in the history of the Port the show outside the Angela Theater Peralta, and made it free in a superb way, where more than 100 dancers went on stage, while in the orchestral part the Master Enrique Patron de Rueda directed to the Camerata Mazatlan.

Attendees witnessed how the Christmas classic is still valid after more than 200 years of its creation, this time Master Guillermo Carrillo was in charge of the choreography having as students the students of the Classical Ballet School of the Municipal Center of the Arts, and members of the Classical Ballet Company of Sinaloa.

The CMA Children’s Choir, directed by Master Mariela Angulo, was responsible for adorning the melodic voices of the effects of the work that the audience applauded at all times.

The light show will be valid for free until January 8 and will be at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. when attendees appreciate it, it will last 20 minutes to the sound of classical music.

At the end of “The Nutcracker,” the members of the Children’s Choir of the CMA sang a Christmas medley, leaving a great taste in the mouth to thousands of spectators.
