Volaris airline Mazatlan-Monterrey flight inaugurated

Mazatlan.- The Undersecretary of Tourism, Sylvia Ruiz Coppel, inaugurated on Saturday the flight Monterrey-Mazatlan de Volaris, which will carry out the air routes four times a week.

The state official stressed that the timing of the route will be from today, until January 2020, with four frequencies a week as follows: on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it will leave Monterrey at 12 : 00 hours, arriving in Mazatlan at 13:10 hours and then leaving at 13:23 hours to land at 16:15 in Monterrey.

He added that it is an A320 Airbus type ship, with capacity for 179 passengers. For this month of December, 2,862 seats will be available, said Ruiz Coppel.

In this regard, the Secretary of State Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros, indicated that positive results continue to be obtained according to the instructions of the Governor of the State Quirino Ordaz Coppel, to make the air connectivity to Sinaloa greater, as is the case today , with the inauguration of the Monterrey-Mazatlan flight.

The important thing is that there is a large area of ​​opportunity in Mazatlan air connectivity both in the country and abroad, and therefore the work continues to increase it, to grow with more promotion to have a greater number of flights, added the head of the Sectur.

Apart from this route, there is also connectivity with the CDMX and Tijuana through this airline, while from Culiacán they connect with Guadalajara, Tijuana, Cd., Juárez, San José del Cabo, Mexicali, CDMX, and Phoenix, and Los Mochis have CDMX, Tijuana and Guadalajara.

In the cutting of the symbolic ribbon were also Heidi Piña Díaz, of Market Development and Distribution of Volaris, in Sonora, BCS and Sinaloa; Iván Pico Gutiérrez, on behalf of the Secretary of Economic Development and Tourism of the Municipality of Mazatlán (David González); Vladimir Ramírez del Ángel, administrator of the Airport, and the captain of the aircraft, Jaime Manuel Ortiz Tabares, among others.
