Mexican architecture firm prepares hotel overlooking the Sea of ​​Cortez

The firm Sordo Madaleno presented the design for the development of a complex in Baja California Sur; which will be owned by Chablé.

The Mexican architecture firm of Javier Sordo Madaleno has revealed the designs for the construction of a hotel in Baja California Sur, Mexico, for the Chablé hotel chain. 

The Chablé Sea of ​​Cortez will be located north of La Paz, BCS, in the Gulf of California – better known as the Sea of ​​Cortez – and will have an area of ​​64 thousand 912 square meters (m2), 50 hotel suites they resemble great sea creatures, a waterfront service building, a lobby, and a restaurant.

The Master Plan of the project includes rooms that will be arranged at an angle of 23 degrees to allow views of the sea, in addition, they will be divided into the two hills of the site, while the hallways and other amenities will be located in the middle. Each suite will have its own pool, terrace, and garden. The construction of the hotel is scheduled to begin in January 2020 and finish in 2022. It will be located approximately two hours by car north of the city of Cabo, San Lucas.

Nearby projects include Hotel Mar Adentro by Taller Aragonés and Solaz resort, which was also designed by Sordo Madaleno.
