The Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP) will expand the electronic filing program of the Homologated Police Report (IPH).
This year, the pilot program that is part of the modernization actions of this mechanism will start in 15 municipalities and by 2020, the so-called “Mobile IPH” is projected to reach 50 locations
The elements of the Municipal Police of Los Cabos, will be one of the first cities to use a mobile application to collect information on facts that may constitute an administrative offense or a crime; The program will begin in 15 municipalities in the country, announced the Director-General of Public Security, Captain Juan José Zamorano Martínez.
The project so that the Homologated Police Reports (IPH) can be written directly in a mobile application that allows speeding up their capture as well as generating indicators; Civic judges or, where appropriate, the investigating authority will have the information immediately.
For these reasons, Los Cabos signed the “Collaboration Agreement for the implementation and operation of the Pilot Program of the Electronic Homologated Police Report called Mobile IPH”.
he representatives of the 15 municipalities of the country have been meeting to gather experience and suggestions in order to make the collection more reliable and agile, as well as the delivery of information, explained the official.
Municipalities participate in the agreement: Merdia, Yucatan; San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas ; Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez and Delicias; Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico ; León and San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato ; Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco ; Jiutepec, Morelos ; Escobedo, Nuevo León ; Santa María Huatulco, Oaxaca ; Puebla, Puebla ; Cancun, Quintana Roo ; Culiacán, Sinaloa and Hermosillo, Sonora .
Finally, Zamorano Martínez stressed that the launch of these actions will be on November 12, at the facilities of the Secretariat of Citizen Security and Protection and that it will gradually start-up in the rest of the country.
