Central American migrants refuse to work in the agricultural fields of Mexico

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- Although through the National Agricultural Council, the possibility of using Central American migrants in the country’s agricultural fields was put on the table, they have not been interested in staying here, said the IACHR manager, Mario Haroldo Robles Escalante

“His goal, his only goal is to reach the border and he is not interested in working and less in this type of activities,” he said.

The manager of the Commission for the Research and Defense of Vegetables said that even this season in the northwest area there are conditions for those who want to work in the plantations of Mexican legumes can do so.

He pointed out that so far the only migrants are those of the state itself, especially those workers who descend from the mountain area to the valley or those who already traditionally come from the south of the country each cycle start.
