With the aim that people with different motor disabilities can travel without any problem from the port terminal to Plazuela Machado, Mazatlan will become an inclusive city.
The port each day adds more inclusive facilities: gyms, playgrounds, a beach project and now the blue line will join the cause, said David González Torrentera, secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries in Mazatlan.
“We are about to start the inclusive blue line, a line that leads people from the cruise terminal to the historic center, before it was only a line now that guides that will help us so that people can transit,” he explained.
Likewise, the free sidewalk program will be implemented to ensure that any wheelchair can circulate throughout the city.
