Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Although the hotel and restaurant sector declared that the month of September is a slow month, the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros, argues that this has already changed, At least for Mazatlan.
“Here in Mazatlan, there is no longer a low season … every weekend we have reservations above 86 percent,” said the official.
The head of the Sectur announced that it will seek to position Mazatlan as a renowned destination and that for this it will be sought that this is the house of first level events, among them he mentioned a golf tournament and the next edition of Fiesta Amigos, in which stressed that there will be a greater presence at the national level.
On the other hand, Pérez Barros said that there are several destinations where activities will be held for next weekend.
