Mazatlan, Sinaloa. As of this Thursday, September 5, the Army and the National Guard took the operational-tactical control of the Command, Control, Communication, and Computing Center, better known as the C4, in Mazatlan, gave Federico Rivas Valdés, Secretary of Public Safety and Municipal Transit.

He mentioned that this is part of the agreements held at the Peace Construction Coordination table in the South Zone of Sinaloa, with the proper authorization of state security agencies.

“This is in order to allow the personnel who are currently performing these functions, have the availability to perform the obligations in terms of control and trust that we have all the public servants involved in this delicate task,” he said.

He added that at the end of these evaluations, the staff will receive the training and updating of knowledge and skills to serve the citizens more and better, from this point of communication (C4) so ​​important for all emergency bodies of the city.

He explained that this new strategy was designed by the staff of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Security and Federal Citizen Protection.

“This is to be more efficient and effective in the application of the material and human resources that the city has to attend the emergencies that citizens have every day, but also to reinforce the actions of citizen proximity and crime prevention, as part of the national security strategy, “he concluded.
