Mazatlan is selected to host the Real Estate Tourism Summit in 2020

* Compete with cities like Huatulco and Cancun 
* Expect arrival of 500 foreign entrepreneurs

Competing with important tourist cities in the country, such as Huatulco and Cancun, Mazatlan was selected to host the Tourism Summit held for 2020. 


Luis Peraza, president of AMPI Mazatlan, reported via cell phone from Acapulco, Guerrero, who went to the tourist destination to participate in the Congress and to request the Summit be brought to Mazatlan, achieving the objective. 


“We had requested in Congress the Tourist Summit for Mazatlan and we took the headquarters for 2020,” he said. 
So far the date on which the event would take place is unknown, he said, but it is not ruled out that it is between the month of March next year. 


The Tourist Summit is a beach congress where AMPI National meets and businessmen from the United States NAR accompanied by investors from the same country.


“It is a beach congress held by AMPI Nacional almost similar as a Tourist Tianguis with the assistance of more than 500 people,” he explained. 


Luis Peraza added that they will try to sell the congress very well, seeking the support of state and municipal governments that will be very important. 


Everyone involved in the real estate sector in Mazatlan, he said, will have the opportunity to make a working relationship with investors and partners who come to find land on the beach to build condominiums or residential homes, he said.

Tourism Summit 2019

From August 28 to 30, the 2019 Tourism Summit will be held, the most important event of the tourist real estate sector in Mexico, organized by the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) at Mundo Imperial Expo, located in the Diamond Riviera.

The objective of the event is to highlight the changes and challenges facing the tourism real estate sector at national and international level in order to establish possible actions before them, as well as to highlight the benefits that investment in this sector brings within Mexico.

In addition, the Summit will strengthen the niche market to those who are addressed and thus meet customer requirements to revitalize this industry in a positive way.

During the VIII edition of the Tourist Summit, attendees will be able to establish collaborative ties between different levels of government, the union, and national and international investors, as well as identify the opportunities of the Mexican market in the detonation of new real estate tourism projects.

In addition, networking activities will be carried out between real estate agents from around the world and training conferences to the guild that will have specialists in topics of interest to the sector, among which are: “The future of tourism investment” by Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona, Secretary of Tourism of the Government of the State of Guerrero; “Analysis 2019-2050 Mexico, Smart Cities” by Pablo Colás, representative of the Mexican Institute of Sustainable and Sustainable Smart Cities (IMCISS) and “Riviera Diamond Real Estate Investment” by Mundo Imperial, among others.
