Mazatlan.- During the national day of struggle against Dengue, Zika and Chikunguña, the director of municipal health services, Alfonso Sandoval, stressed that after the rains Mazatlan is considered an emergency area and the best way to counteract with mosquito campaign and fumigation.
The head of Jurisdiction 6, Andrés Sidharta Hindú stressed that in this second day, called Transform while Schools, they will certify 19 primary schools, 10 health centers, and 4 universities.
In the last ones, they have attended 30 campuses that were made descacharrización, eliminated hatcheries and applied pesticides, emphasized the coordinator of Vectors and Zoomosis, Víctor Arredondo.
In these days 100 workers are involved in the different programs and there is support from the municipality with units and fuel for the cleanup and fumigation campaign.
They have collected 741 tons of trash in the south and these 421 are from Mazatlan.
