Mitsui has made negotiations that will open the doors of the Oriente market with the state of Sinaloa

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Japanese Mitsui consortium could allow the entity to have a better commercial relationship with the eastern market, said Javier Lizárraga Mercado, head of the State Ministry of Economy.

“Mitsui is a group that can open the doors for the East, for export products to Sinaloa. It can make synergies with the Sinaloa field and with the fishing sector to achieve, precisely, that there are subsequently programs of exportable products for the East, primarily Japan, South Korea, China; It is considered one of the most important international logistics and trader companies in the world, ”he said.

The official revealed that this group acquired 80 percent of Agroindustrias del Norte, a regional company that will now be known as Adenor.

“Very important possibilities are coming because they already bought Agroindustrias del Norte, that industry will continue to strengthen it, they will continue to open branches throughout the country, this is something very positive, very good for Sinaloa,” he nodded.

Lizárraga Mercado explained that there have already been talks by State authorities with representatives of this business group and with Carlos Almada, former Japanese ambassador to Mexico, to address this development.
