95 percent of tourism arrives through boats, whose ticket amounts to 30 pesos round trip
Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – Tourism is maintained at 50 percent, which takes advantage of the last days of vacation when visiting Stone Island.
The municipal commissioner, Víctor Manuel Aguirre Peña, acknowledged, the decrease in visitors is focused on tourists from the town, who are currently getting ready to return to school.
The tourism that prevails even in the municipality, he said, is from Chihuahua, Monterrey, Durango, and Torreón, which make use of the Mazatlan-Durango highway.
Compared to 2018, he said, the Stone Island presented a similar arrival of visitors, which remained up to 100 percent.
