Mazatlan, Sin.- The month of July has been beneficial for the Mazatlan hotel sector, since, in this holiday period, the occupation remains up to 90 percent, thanks to the fact that the port is positioned in one of the destinations favorite tourist vacationers, said José Ramón Manguart Sánchez.
The president of the Association of Hotels and Motels Tres Islas in Mazatlan said that the respective ones by the sector are good since so far the number of visitors staying in the different towers of the city are higher than the results of the year past.
“Thank God we have had a very good occupation, in this month we have practically walked around 88 or 90 percent, this weekend has not been the exception.”
The hotel entrepreneur added that they are currently working on surveys for the ninth summer study, in order to measure the satisfaction rates of tourists who arrived in Mazatlan during this holiday period.
He pointed out that the visitor is asked his socioeconomic profile, origin, average rate, the type of accommodation he chose and through which platform he made his reservation.
Manguart Sánchez said that these data will allow them to be more efficient in making decisions through the marketing committees, for the joint promotion plans of the Ministry of Tourism in Sinaloa.
