Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- In Mazatlan, with an investment of 240 million pesos, in August the industrial park starts in an area of 40 hectares to grow to 120 hectares.
The secretary of Economy in Sinaloa, Javier Lizárraga Mercado, stressed that they are a group of maquiladora investors in the state of Sonora and that they have 33 years in manufacturing; They work in the development of material for the aerospace, aeronautics and medical instruments industry.
In the first stage around 30 industrial buildings will be created and around 9 thousand jobs will be generated from all areas, but in particularly qualified professionals will be required.
Drones
The official reiterated that there are investors interested in developing in Mazatlan, and this has been achieved by the momentum that the entity has had and especially the port.
Having gas, energy, enough water, attractions, more hotels, golf courses, and other images, make entrepreneurs invest here. The group of Spanish businessmen will begin in October the work of the drone maquiladoras.
The park will be developed in an extension of 200 hectares; in a first stage with 70 hectares and it will be located north of Mazatlan, along the coast.
Impulse
The steel group has a permit to have an airport, which will be smaller than the one that already exists in Mazatlan.
This investment was brought after the tour that was made along with Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel in Spain, Lizárraga said.
He also explained that the Government is already working on the construction of a bridge and roads. Thanks to this, the south and all of Sinaloa will be promoted.
