No water, No street lighting: Real Pacifico in Mazatlan has serious deficiencies in services

Mazatlan, Sin. – Since the pipeline in the tank in the Flores Magón colony broke, residents of the Real Pacífico subdivision suffer continuous cuts in the water supply, a situation that has become unsustainable, since they can not even bathe with tranquility.

Through a citizen complaint, Denisse, who has been affected by the shortcomings in the service, said they have made continuous reports to the Municipal Water and Sewerage Board of Mazatlan and so far have not seen the solution to the problem.

We have struggled for a while, since it was learned that a tank had burst, but this Sunday was harder, during the morning a ‘little trickle’ came out and there was no night. In addition, the lights of the avenue have days without being lit and on Sunday there were blackouts of light. We have reported and continue in them, we fear that heavy rains will arrive and this will get worse.

On the other hand, Juan Pablo, who also joined the citizen complaint, stressed that the lack of public lighting increases the climate of insecurity, and fear that this situation will lend itself to entering homes that are alone.

We already have days that there is no public lighting, and then on Sunday there was no light, neither in houses, nor in streets in Real Pacifico, besides there was no water, nor how to make it. We have called Jumapam and CFE, and to date, they still do not provide a definitive solution.

ATTENTION NEEDED

Residents of Real Pacifico urged the authorities to pay attention to their complaints, as they fear that, with the arrival of the rains, which until now have not been strong, the problem is aggravated.
