MAZATLÁN.- The support and attention to the tourist that comes to Mazatlan is of vital importance and for this reason the Tourist Care and Protection Center (Capta) has four fixed modules and one mobile to help the tourists that in some way they are affected by service providers or, as the case may be, because they are victims of some illicit act.

Astrid Macías Fregoso, director of Capta Mazatlán, informed that the modules are located in the “Rafael Buelna” International Airport, one more in the Ciudad Hermanas park, in the Capta office next to the Ministry of Tourism, along Avenida Del Mar , which is attended by external collaborators and one more at the pier of the API, where you go every time a cruise arrives in the city.

In addition to assisting tourists, the management of Capta will try to educate the service providers to give fair and good treatment to vacationers.

“We also have a different dynamic in these holidays, and it is to be present in the different hotels. Now with the arrival of tourists, we started with the Royal Villas, this week will be Don Pelayo, and we already have several on the list by the Association of Hotels and Motels ‘Tres Islas’ and the idea is to go with the tourist servers and let them know what Capta is and tell them how they can help by notifying us of any incident. “

It also seeks to have a perception of the visitor and for it three short questions will be asked, that is to say, what perception is taken of Mazatlan, of the service that it received and if it would recommend the city, he added.

Macias Fregoso said that the most common complaints are because tourists are affected by the breach of contracts and reservations in some hotels, and through Capta seeks conciliation.
