So you think its been hot in Mexico? Wait till the Canícula officially starts

The 40 hottest days of the year will start next Friday throughout the country, and although Sinaloa is not part of the list of states most affected, there will be temperatures in the state above 37 degrees Celsius

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- If the heat has been unbearable most of the day, we regret to warn you that this is just beginning, because next Friday, July 12, the whole of the country will start the famous “Canícula”, which is a period of 40 days in those that present the highest temperatures in the year, ending until Tuesday, August 20.

According to the CONAGUA, there are two lists of states that will be affected too much, being Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, State of Mexico, Morelos, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatan, Quintana Roo and a portion of San Luis Potosí, the most affected.

In another list of less affected states, Sinaloa is located next to Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Durango, Chihuahua and Nayarit, according to the National Water Commission.

However, throughout the country temperatures will be from 37 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees and even more.
