In the coming days more units will arrive for the transit corporation
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Municipal Public Safety Secretariat received 17 motorcycles, which will be used in strategic points as of Monday. The Secretary of Public Safety Municipal Ramiro Lizárraga, said that these units are to give more support and security to the public.
He stressed that the motorcycles will be extended more vigilance because they support the patrol cars and thus strengthen security throughout the city because in some points will be assigned two to three motorcycle patrols.
The municipal official mentioned that in the next few days 10 more units could arrive to the police corporation, but those vehicles will be used for transit agents.
Meanwhile the mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, said that with this delivery of motorcycles is endorsed the commitment to Mazatlan citizenship to reduce violence.
